rizhi_fin Please note that the following scientific journals and societies are grant mafia. That is, they are mob of scientific grants.
This means they do not want to share the grant pie with new comers, especially those whose ideas appear distant from their own microscopic area of research and thus can not be incorporated in their cozy cobweb under their own grant umbrella.
The reality is that they simply do not read incoming papers but reject them based on thousand secondary technical factors with one aim in mind: to keep the grant distribution pie intact.
Here they are, among many others in every developed country, the Mafia of Scientific Grants:
