I love when I arrive at my psychotherapist's and he's drunk. Or has a terrible hungover, like today. In my opinion, we have the most efficient sessions:) Seriously. Today we role-played. He was rational normal Me and I was irrational sabotaging Me. We were arguing about everything, it went great, now I know that I can try to reason with the sabotaging Me or childish scared Me or whoever the hell I might turn into. As I understand, the key is to try to keep cool and some distance in these arguing battles. If you loose it and get emotional, you lost it. You know you won the session when the other side has nothing more to say.
