Got a "ghirya"

Ghirya is the Russian name for an iron weight in shape of a ball with a round handle on it. I got one of 24 kg.
Funny how I bought it. I went up and down the street with lot of sporting stores on it. I asked for ghirays and negotiated the price. Apparently, you negotiate it on per kilogram basis. Initially I planned to buy a 16 kg one. The price was 20 Lari (Georgian currency, 1 dollar=1.82 Lari). 20/16 is 1.25 Lari per kilo of iron. Then I negotiated the 24 kg ghirya of initial price of 30 Lari. That one I talked down to 28 Lari so on per kilo basis I got a sweet deal of 1.17 Lari per kilo of iron.
I am going to get in shape once I move in, hopefully next month. I am going to get more of ghiryas in 16 and 32 kg nomination. Feel strong!
