Went to Eliava auto market and got cloth seat covers and wooden bead cover for driver seat. The latter is made of beech fingers connected to each other by Capron thread making some kind of mosaic with enough holes for air in between them. As we know my Niva has no shortcomings and absence of air-conditioning makes it just a little uncomfortable in summer, the wooden mosaic makes it a perfect addition. Thing is if you open driver's window and then open just a little passenger's window, the air rotates in the back and flows to the front making it pleasant. The only thing is the seat. When you sit in there for a long time, the vapors of body parts that are stuck to the seat have no else to go but to condensate and soak in the seat covers and cushion. With the wooden bead mosaic there are created little air pockets that feel cool and fresh and dry. Well, at least that is what I felt for 20 minutes of driving in relatively hot weather. We'll see.
